Harbin Ice and Snow Festival Event Timetable for 2011
Want to find a place to see great Chinese artistic work? Harbin is the place you should go this winter.
After seeing those spetacular, fantastic, fabulous, & colorful ice sculptures in Harbin, you will be amazed and humbled by Chinese artistic talents.
Please remember to dress warmly as it is about 30 degree below zero in Harbin now.
There are five big winter festival events for 2011 new year and the biggest one is Harbin Ice and Snow World. Check below for 2011 official events calendar.

Event 1: The 12th Harbin Ice and Snow World & Disney Ice and Snow Carnival 2011
- Opening Time: Trial opening starts by the end of 2010 and the festival formally opens to the public on January 5th 2011.
- Closing Time: February 20th, 2011
- Ticket Price from Monday to Thursday: RMB 280 Yuan each for adult and RMB 150 Yuan each for child or student.
- Ticket Price from Friday to Sunday as well as other holidays: RMB 330 Yuan each for adult and RMB 150 Yuan each for child or student.
- Free Ticket Policy: disabled and aged persons, children with the height under 120cm don't need to pay for entry.
- Venue: Western Part of Sun Island (Taiyangdao), Songbei District, Harbin.
- Public Transportation Information: Visitors can take No. 29, No. 80, No. 85, No. 88, No. 118, No. 346 bus to get to the venue.

- Theme: The 12th Harbin Ice and Snow World has "Ice and Snow World, Fairy Tale Kingdom" as its theme. Showcases are almost all fairy tale subjects domestic and abroad. Here you
will see the most unique cultural miracle made by ice and snow.

Event 2: The 37th China Harbin Ice Lantern Garden Party
- Opening Time: December 25th, 2010
- Closing Time: the end of February 2011
- Ticket: RMB 150 Yuan each
- Venue: Zhaolin Park, Forest Street, Daoli District
- Public Transportation Information: Visitors can take No.8, No.16, No.64, No.113, No.101, No.102 bus to get to the venue.

- Highlighting Events: The 37th Harbin Ice Lantern Garden Party comprises 10 themed sightseeing such as Cartoon Paradise, Glorious Expo, Ice Racing and etc. It's known as a

Event 3: The 23rd China Harbin Ice & Snow Sculpture Expo
- Opening Time: Trial opening starts on December 22nd and the expo formally opens to the public on December 28th 2010. Opening hours are from 8:30 to 19:00 from Monday to Sunday.
- Closing Time: the end of February 2011
- Ticket: RMB 150 Yuan each for adult.
- Venue: Sun Island Scenic Area, Songbei District
- Public Transportation Information: Visitors can take No.29, 80, 85, 88, 118, 346 bus to get to the venue

- Theme: The 23rd China Harbin Ice & Snow Sculpture Expo has "Italian Flavor and Sun Island Ice and Snow" as its theme. Showcases are Italian Classical buildings, sculptures and etc built of ice.
