The XXIX Olympic Summer Games will start from August 8 and end on August 24, 2008 in Beijing, People's Republic of China. The Games are comprised by 28 summer sports currently on the Olympic program. Approximately 10,500 athletes from more than 200 countries and regions are expected to participate in the Games.
