Advance ticket reservation date for D train (high speed bullet train, also known as China CRH Train) and Z train is 21 days and advance railway ticket reservation date for other kinds of trains is 11 days in Beijing.

Question: I am the Port Lecturer for Princess Cruises. We will be docking at Tianjin (not Xingang). Tianjin is a new port. How do passengers get to the high speed train?
Answer: You are right! There are two cruise ship terminals in Tianjin. One is called as Tianjin Port International Cruise Terminal, another is called as Tianjin Xingang, which is also known as Tanggu Xingang to the local people.
As you can see, you will be docking at Tianjin Port International Cruise Terminal, which locates to the south of Dongjiang Port Area. To get to Tanggu Railway Station to take the bullet train for Beijing, you are suggested to take taxi as there is no
direct bus running between the two places. Duration is about 40 minutes if the traffic is good and taxi fare is about RMB 50-80 Yuan.
To get to Tanggu Railway Station from Tianjin Xingang, you can either take bus or taxi. No. 102 bus at No. 1 Road can take passenger from Tianjin Xingang to Tanggu Railway Station directly. If you want to save time, you can take a taxi. Duration is about 20
minutes and taxi fare is about RMB 20 Yuan (for reference only).
- Question: Can the high speed train accommodate large pieces of luggage? Some of the passengers are saying that they've taken the Tianjin high speed train before and that there is luggage space beneath the train on the front and back end. I really, really, need to find out if taking the train to Tianjin to Beijing with a lot of luggage is a viable option. HELP :-)
