Guangxi is a Zhuang Autonomous Region of China.It is located in Southern China, along its border with Vietnam, and mountainous terrain, has made it one of the border frontiers of Chinese civilization. The abbreviation of Guangxi is Gui, which comes from the city of Guilin.
Guangxi has a short coastline on the Gulf of Tonkin. Its important seaports include Beihai, Qinzhou and Fangchenggang. Major cities of the province include Nanning, Guilin, Beihai, Qinzhou, Yulin, Baise, Hechi and Liuzhou ect. There're three notable towns of Guangxi, Longmen, Sanjiang and Yangshuo.

To the north of Guangxi, there're Duyang Mountain, Fenghuang Mountain, and Yunkai Mountain on the southeast. The highest point is Mao'er Mountain which is located in the Yuecheng Mountains.
