- D train using CRH2 system and G train using CRH3 system are well known as high speed bullet trains. G trains are equipped with 2nd class seat, 1st class seat as well as business class seat or VIP seat. First class seat and VIP seat have multifunctions and they can even be used as sleepers. There is neither hard sleeper or nor soft sleeper on the G train.
- Sleepers on K train, T train and 4-digit trains are classified into two types: soft sleeper and hard sleeper. Hard sleeper has three sub-categories: upper hard sleeper, middle hard sleeper and bottom hard sleeper; Soft sleeper has two sub-categories: upper soft sleeper and bottom soft sleeper.
- Most Railway stations and ticket agencies sell tickets of different places. For example, you can buy Shenzhen-Guangzhou train ticket while you are still staying in Beijing City.
